This month’s focus is Managing Up.

How do we manage up effectively?

Many quiet leaders feel invisible when it comes to being seen by their senior leaders. Our direct reports may understand how effective we are as leaders, yet it can sometimes feel like there is a brick wall between us and senior leadership.

At the same time, when senior leaders truly see our work and impact, it can open the door to new opportunities and support.

Together, we’ll gently explore questions such as:

  • How can we show up with senior leaders in ways that help them understand our values and impact?
  • How do we receive the sponsorship needed to move forward in our careers?
  • What might be blocking us from being fully seen?
  • How can we share our impact with senior leaders in ways that feel authentic and sustainable?

​Rather than trying to “fix” ourselves, we’ll slow down and notice what’s actually happening — and what kind of leadership presence feels most authentic and sustainable for us.

​We’ll spend time:

  • ​Checking in
  • ​Exploring the question through gentle, facilitated quiet reflection
  • ​Identifying a small, personal experiment to carry into the coming month

​This is not a workshop or training. There’s no fixing, no pressure to speak, and no expectation to arrive with answers.

​It’s a shared space to notice, reflect, and experiment gently — alongside other quiet leaders.
